Who We Are
Stand Up For Grace was created by a group of past volunteers who have previously spent time at By Grace Disabled and Orphans Centre (By Grace) in Kayole, Kenya. Kayole is one of more than 60 designated slums surrounding Kenya's capital city of Nairobi. By Grace is home and school to more than 250 children and is entirely dependant on donor funds. They receive no government assistance and the teachers and staff are all volunteers. Through Stand up For Grace, we hope to be able to provide the children at By Grace with nutritious daily meals, adequate clean water, clothes/shoes/basic necessities, and educational and medical assistance. All funds raised go directly to the orphanage and are used towards these needs based on current priority.
